Rams RT Rob Havenstein retires from NFL after 11 seasons

Los Angeles Rams right tackle Rob Havenstein announced his retirement from the NFL after 11 seasons on Tuesday. Havenstein, 33, played his entire career with the Rams after being a second-round pick by St. Louis in 2015 out of Wisconsin.

He and Tyler Higbee were the last remaining players from the franchise’s tenure in St. Louis.

In his career, Havenstein played and started 148 games. He played a career-low seven games this season after landing on IR due to an ankle injury.

In Havenstein’s announcement on Instagram, he thanked everyone for their support, from teammates to coaches and fans. Below is his full retirement message.

Havenstein was a pending free agent this offseason, so he wasn't certain to return to the Rams if he continued playing. He won one Super Bowl with Los Angeles in 2021 and reached another in 2018, playing 13 career postseason games with the Rams.
