Raptors’ Trayce Jackson-Davis joins exclusive list after impressive debut

Trayce Jackson-Davis needed just one game to win over Raptors faithful.

The big man showed out in his Toronto debut, logging 10 points and 10 rebounds in 15 minutes as the Raptors defeated the Pacers on Sunday.

With his performance, Jackson-Davis became just the fifth Raptor to record a double-double in their team debut, and was the first since Kawhi Leonard in 2018.

It marked the 25-year-old’s best stat line in some time, reaching double-figure points for the first time in 2026. He also added a block and a steal, while eight of his 10 rebounds were on the offensive glass.

The Raptors acquired Jackson-Davis from the Warriors on Wednesday before the trade deadline, sending a 2026 second-round pick the other way.

Toronto entered Wednesday’s game already down centre Jakob Poeltl, and lost rookie Collin Murray-Boyles to injury.
