The North Carolina Tar Heels completed another 2-0 week, capped off by a thrilling win over rival Duke. It was a win that gave the Tar Heels a big Quad 1 win and extended their win streak to five games in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
For the Tar Heels, they now enter this new week at 19-4 overall and 7-3 in ACC play. They also moved up in the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll. UNC jumped up five spots from No. 18 to No. 13 in the latest poll that was released on Monday, one of their biggest jumps all season long.
The Tar Heels are still behind Duke, who fell two spots to No. 6. But they are ahead of No. 15 Virginia, No. 18 Clemson and No. 23 Louisville. North Carolina will now head on the road for a tough road test at Miami as the Hurricanes are 18-5 overall and 7-3 in conference play.
