The Las Vegas Raiders introduced their new head coach, Klint Kubiak, this week to rave reviews. He brought out all the Silver and Black legends, ushering in a new era of Raiders football.

The team hopes for a turnaround with Kubiak as head coach, and one of his first priorities is building the coaching staff. It started with him hiring coaching veteran Mike McCoy as an assistant coach to help the rookie head coach get his footing in the NFL. The next step was the hiring of an OC. That process began with a team interview of Seattle Seahawks wide receivers coach Frisman Jackson.

Even though they only have one year together, Jackson’s development of wide receivers stands out on his resume. Jackson Smith-Nijgba went from a slot receiver to a top-five wide receiver in the NFL. With the young wide receivers on the Raiders roster, the hire of Jackson could help unlock their potential and take them to the next level.

Of course, this is the first interview for the position. There will be more candidates, but Jackson could be a surprise hire for the coaching staff.
