Derek Carr addresses rumors that he could come out of retirement

Quarterback-needy teams unimpressed with the quality of free agent signal callers and this year's draft class may instead go hunting for a used Carr.

On Feb. 8, former Las Vegas Raiders and New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr was rumored to be mulling a return to football less than one year after he announced his retirement. Carr, 34, addressed those rumors in his latest "Home Grown" podcast episode, which he co-hosts with his brother, former NFL quarterback David Carr.

"Would I do it (come out of retirement)? Yes," Carr said. "Would I do it for anybody? Absolutely not."

He went on to say the decision would come down to two things: his health and a prospective team's Super Bowl contention prospects.
