Inter Milan and Juventus will not only battle for supremacy on the pitch tonight, but also showcase the financial power behind two of Serie A’s biggest clubs.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, the combined wage bill of players involved in the Derby d’Italia stands at approximately €270 million.
Inter account for €137 million, while Juventus sit close behind at €135 million, highlighting the balance between the rivals.
The financial comparison also extends to amortisation costs.

During the 2024-25 season, Inter recorded €253.2 million in squad costs, up from €227.4 million the previous year.
Juventus, meanwhile, reported €244.7 million, a decrease from €264.1 million.
The report notes that recent financial trends suggest the curves between Milan and Turin have begun to invert.
Among Juventus players, Kenan Yildiz now earns €6 million net per season, up from €1.7 million, with his salary set to rise to €7 million next year.
Jonathan David also earns €6 million, while Dusan Vlahovic remains the highest-paid Bianconeri player on €12 million.
At Inter, Lautaro Martinez tops the payroll with a net salary of €9 million.
Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu follow at €6.5 million each.
