Konstantinos Karetsas looks like a true gem, and this summer Chelsea are bound to be in the mix of teams trying to buy him.

Chelsea are bound to make some big transfer moves this summer, and while there may be a major first team addition or two, the bulk of their business will likely continue in the trend of buying young players to develop.

We’re continually linked with expensive deals for 25 or 26 year olds. But the reality is that players between 18 and 23 will be our main targets. That’s why we’re more convinced by our reported interest in Konstantinos Karetsas of Genk.

Karetsas rightly a top target for Chelsea and other big teams

The 18 year old is a true wonderkid, and a report from Sport Witness today translates claims from Belgium that the Genk star is being chased by Man City as well as the Blues. He somehow has a ridiculous 15 assist to his name in 35 games this season, and you can see why a creative magician like that would be in demand all over.

Best of all, the fee mentioned is just €28m. That’s so low that we can see multiple sides going for him, and we could get quite the bidding war going. A player of that age, and that quality, could easily be going for closer to €40m.

In other news…

Estevao has settled in nicely at Chelsea, and he’s working hard off the pitch as well as on it to fit in and adapt as quickly as possible.

Fellow Man City academy star Morgan Rogers would be a dream signing for most Chelsea fans, but he’s now being linked with Tottenham. Can you really see Spurs spending £100m on a player though? That’s what Villa may want…

Anthony Joshua could return sooner than expected after surprise Eddie Hearn update

Anthony Joshua could return to the ring sooner than expected, after the boxing star was involved in a fatal car crash in December.

Just days after Joshua knocked out Jake Paul, beating the influencer in six rounds, he suffered injuries as a passenger in a car accident in Nigeria. The crash claimed the lives of two of Joshua’s teammates: Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele.

In the fallout of that accident, Joshua’s fighting future has been up in the air, with some fans questioning whether the former world heavyweight champion would box again.

However, “AJ” was soon back to training, and now his promoter has suggested that a competitive return could come as soon as July.

“Look, originally the plan with AJ was for him to fight in March, and then fight Tyson Fury in August,” Eddie Hearn told Boxing Scene on Thursday. “That’s not happening, he’s not fighting Tyson Fury next.

“He’s going to come back – I believe – late summer, but physically he’s not yet in a position to return to camp. So, I’m planning, but he’s just resting and preparing.

“So for me, I’m looking at options to get him back in the ring in July time, but we’ll only know if that’s a real possibility when he returns to camp, which will hopefully be in the next couple of weeks or a month.”

When asked whether Joshua’s next bout could be somewhat of a warm-up for a tougher test, Matchroom’s Hearn said: “I think every fight’s dangerous, coming off what he’s come off, but yeah, I think...

“We’re open to the Tyson Fury fight, but probably more likely end of the year, maybe early 2027.”

Joshua, 36, was linked with kickboxing champion Rico Verhoeven prior to December’s crash, but Hearn said: “I believe he’s fighting... rumours of him fighting [Oleksandr] Usyk, yeah.”

Usyk, who twice beat Joshua on points, is currently the unified heavyweight champion, while Fabio Wardley holds the WBO title. Elsewhere in the division, Fury will box Arslanbek Makhmudov on 11 April, as the Briton emerges from retirement for the fifth time.

As Hearn hinted, Joshua and Fury were on course for a long-awaited showdown this year, but AJ’s accident has disrupted those plans. It is currently expected that Fury, 37, will target a world-title fight if he beats Russia’s Makhmudov.

Fury vs Makhmudov will stream live on Netflix, like Joshua’s win over Paul, and it will take place one week after Derek Chisora fights Deontay Wilder. Chisora is a friend of Joshua, who has long been linked to a possible clash with Wilder.

UFC Fighter Says 'No One Gives A **** About Women's Sports' — And It Gets So Much Worse

UFCfighterSean Strickland apparently thought the best way to promotehis upcoming match with Anthony Hernandez was to make vulgar, sexist comments about two of the biggest personalities in mixed martial arts.

During a press gathering on Wednesday, Strickland turned a question about the upcomingcoming-out-of-retirement match betweenRonda Rousey andGina Carano into a bizarre rant where he discussed his childhood masturbation habits while trashing women’s sports.

Strickland started off his charm offensive ― minus the charm ― by mocking Paramount+, the streamer carrying Saturday’s match, because it “******* ruined ‘Halo’” by making it “gay,” before referencing the Rousey-Carano match scheduled for May.

“Whoever thought about that?” he wondered, before asking, “Are they gonna be half naked? It might make it a little better.”

Strickland did praise Rousey’s ability ― “That ***** can fight” ― and also said he liked the fact that Carano is “like, super conservative,” before going into a memory no one wanted to hear ― trust us.

“I was like a kid when she fought. I may have jerked off to her once or twice back in the day ... I was like, what, like 12? I was jerking off when I was 12.”

He then suggested that “nobody gives a ****” about the Rousey-Carano fight, but suggested, “maybe put some oil on it, you know. Do some dollar bills. People might give a ****.”

Strickland then claimed that “no one gives a **** about women’s sports,” and that the “weakest, softest ************” attending the presser could easily beat up current female UFC star Amanda Nunes.

But Strickland took great pains to let reporters in attendance know that “there’s nothing wrong with women,” but his reasons seemed straight out of the Stone Age.

“I mean, they do great things. You know, they ******* — they cook, they clean,” he noted, before adding, “There are no women in prison, right? Like, that’s why I didn’t go to ******* prison, knowing I’m gonna have to go be surrounded by a bunch of ******* dudes for 30 years. I’m not doing that **** ... Problem is, we’ve empowered them too much to ruin society.”

You can see the whole bizarre train wreck below.

But this isn’t exactly a surprise for anyone familiar with the mixed martial artist.

Last month, he attacked Hernandez, his opponent this coming Saturday, with a social media post showing himself dressed as an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer and Hernandez in a poncho and sombrero.

Hernandez told a podcast on Tuesdaythat he plans to “******* torture” Strickland when they fight this weekend.

Strickland did comment on his wild Wednesday presser on Thursday, saying he got “rage baited” by a reporter and emphasizing his distaste for Paramount+’s “Halo” show.
