Former UConn men's basketball star Emeka Okafor has joined an exclusive club, becoming the third player in the program's history to have his jersey number retired. This prestigious honor recognizes Okafor's outstanding contributions to the team and university during his collegiate career.
The ceremony took place at Gampel Pavilion, where fans gathered to celebrate Okafor's legacy. His jersey will now hang permanently in the rafters alongside the only two other retired numbers in UConn men's basketball history.
