Karolína Muchová Beats Osaka to Reach First Semi-final

Karolína Muchová reached her first Wimbledon semi-final after defeating Naomi Osaka 7-6(4), 6-4 in an impressive quarter-final performance.
Muchová, who had lost in the first round in each of her previous four Wimbledon appearances, showed why her all-round game suits grass courts. She served well, returned strongly, and mixed powerful groundstrokes with slices and volleys to keep Osaka under pressure throughout the match.
