Paul Confirmed with Spinal Injury After DTM Crash

DTM driver Maximilian Paul has been confirmed to have suffered a lumbar vertebra fracture along with lower leg injuries in his Norisring crash.

Three days after his severe DTM crash at the Norisring, the full extent of Maximilian Paul's injuries has been revealed. Team principal Gottfried Grasser confirmed the 26-year-old driver suffered 'a fibula and a tibia fracture as well as a lumbar vertebra fracture.'

Previous reports had only mentioned lower leg injuries following the crash during Saturday's race. Paul, from Dresden, now faces a recovery period with these serious injuries. librea.one
