NBA Clears Kings' Christie of Intentional Tanking

The NBA cleared Sacramento Kings head coach Doug Christie of intentionally trying to lose to the Golden State Warriors following Draymond Green's criticism.

The league stated that Christie made no intentional effort to give Golden State a shooting foul or cause the loss during Tuesday's 110-105 defeat. Christie explained he was attempting to use a timeout strategy before realizing the Kings were already in the penalty.

Green had previously questioned why teams aren't fined for tanking, while the NBA has vowed to implement changes to prevent such strategies this offseason.
