Rondale Moore's Death Under Investigation

Former Purdue star and NFL wide receiver Rondale Moore died on Feb. 21 at age 25. The cause of death is under investigation by the Floyd County coroner.

Rondale Moore was found in a garage with a suspected self‑inflicted gunshot wound, and an autopsy is scheduled for Sunday. The coroner has confirmed the death but the exact cause remains under investigation.

Moore, a 2018 Paul Hornung Award winner, was a second‑round pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2021 and spent three seasons with the team before injuries cut short his stints with the Falcons and Vikings. The NFLPA and Minnesota Vikings issued statements expressing deep sadness and offering support to his family and teammates.
