NFLRA Accuses NFL of Spreading False Info on CBA Talks

The NFL Referees Association has accused the NFL of disseminating false and misleading information regarding the current collective bargaining agreement negotiations, highlighting concerns over officials’ pay and benefits.

The NFLRA said league sources continue to release false and misleading statements about the CBA talks, arguing that officials are undercompensated compared to other sports and lack health‑care benefits. It also pointed out that high‑performing referees earned less for playoff and Super Bowl games than for regular‑season games, undermining performance‑based pay.

Meanwhile, the CBA negotiations between the NFL and NFLRA have stalled, with the league reportedly pursuing a strategy aimed at securing the best possible terms rather than fair compensation for its officials.
