In a brief press meeting, new Dolphins coach Jeff Hafley told recently signed backup quarterback Malik Willis to stay true to his playing style and not add extra pressure.

Hafley said, ‘I had a great conversation with him yesterday. I told him, “Don’t change who you are.” You earned this opportunity by doing things the right way, so keep doing that.” He added that mistakes will happen but confidence is key.

The move to sign Willis, a former Packers backup, signals the Dolphins’ intent to rebuild with a mix of youth and experience.
