College Football Playoff to Clash with NFL Again

The 2026-27 College Football Playoff schedule features three semifinal games on December 19, directly competing with two NFL Week 15 games.

The College Football Playoff will again go head-to-head with the NFL on December 19, 2026, when three semifinal games are scheduled simultaneously with two NFL matchups. The CFP games at 3:30 and 7:30 ET will compete with the Seahawks-Eagles game at 4 p.m. and Bears-Bills contest at 7:20 p.m. raccoongame.org

Since expanding to 12 teams, the NCAA and NFL have consistently scheduled games on the same Saturday in December, with NFL games drawing higher ratings. This year, college games will air on TNT while NFL games broadcast on Fox and CBS.
