Falcons Place Walker on IR, Claim Smith

The Atlanta Falcons have placed linebacker Jalon Walker on injured reserve after he tore his ACL in practice this week.

The 2025 first-round pick will have surgery and spend the coming months rehabbing for his third season. The Falcons filled the roster spot by claiming defensive back Keidron Smith off waivers, who was cut by the Jets on Wednesday.
