Bucs Sign Rookie WR Henry

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed rookie wide receiver Matthew Henry to their roster, placing defensive lineman Deshawn McKnight on injured reserve.

The Buccaneers announced the signing on Tuesday. Henry, who went undrafted in April, played collegiately at Western Kentucky where he started all 13 games in 2025, recording 55 receptions for 888 yards and six touchdowns. He was named to the All-Conference USA second team. sweetbonan.org

The team needs help at receiver position as Emeka Egbuka, Jalen McMillan and Tez Johnson have all missed practice time this week due to injuries. Henry previously participated in rookie minicamps with the Titans and 49ers before joining the Buccaneers.
