Payton Defends Nix Against Analyst Critique

Broncos coach Sean Payton took to Twitter to defend quarterback Bo Nix against analyst Geoff Schwartz, who claimed Nix doesn't "push the ball down the field all that often." Payton responded with, "Always easy to tell who works at it and who doesn't." tr-sport.click

When asked about his social media defense, Payton said, "I can't help myself though. When I see something like that, I'm sorry, it's just, I have a pause and then it's like, 'What are you watching?' Just watch the tape." He noted Schwartz's analysis was "the opposite of what he was saying" and pointed out that Schwartz played at Oregon, the same school as Nix.
