Giants Cut Eight Players Including Isaiah Hodgins

The New York Giants have reduced their roster to 53 players ahead of Sunday's 6 p.m. ET deadline, cutting eight players including wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins.

The Giants announced the release of CB Ugo Amadi, RB Damon Bankston, TE Josiah Deguara, DL Leki Fotu, WR Isaiah Hodgins, OL Brenden Jaimes, LB Anfernee Orji, and WR Kobe Prentice.

Hodgins spent the last 3.5 seasons with the team, recording 66 catches for 708 yards and eight touchdowns. The moves follow Sunday's 23-6 preseason win over the Jets. The waiver claim period expires Monday at 1 p.m. ET, with the Giants holding the fifth spot in the claiming order. cricket-ipl.co.za
