49ers Sign Dante Pettis to Practice Squad

The San Francisco 49ers are signing wide receiver Dante Pettis to their practice squad, according to Jordan Schultz of The Schultz Report.

Pettis, 30, was originally drafted by the 49ers in the second round in 2018 and had 467 yards and five touchdowns as a rookie. He was waived during the 2020 season and has since played for the Giants, Bears, and Saints. bettingx.club

The move comes as the 49ers deal with injuries at the wide receiver position, including Ricky Pearsall out for the season, Christian Kirk on injured reserve, and Mike Evans leaving Sunday's game with a rib injury.
