Barella to Start as Playmaker vs Bodo/Glimt

Inter Milan's Nicolo Barella will start as a deep-lying playmaker in tonight's Champions League match against Bodo/Glimt, replacing injured Hakan Calhanoglu.

According to reports, the 29-year-old Italian international will fill in for Calhanoglu, who has renewed his muscle problem. Barella made his return from a minor knee injury against Juventus last weekend but picked up a yellow card, meaning he'll be suspended for Inter's next Serie A match against Lecce.

Coach Cristian Chivu is looking to rest Piotr Zielinski, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Petar Sucic expected to complete the midfield trio alongside Barella.
