Arne Slot’s Liverpool have moved quickly in the summer window, securing Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes for a reported £60m. The French centre‑back, who recovered from a shoulder injury last month, is seen as a key piece to shore up a defence that struggled earlier in the season.
