Canadian short-track speedskater Courtney Sarault secured silver in the women’s 1,000 metres at Milano Cortina 2026 on Monday.
Sarault, from Moncton, N.B., now has a mixed team relay silver and a 500m bronze to add to this achievement. This is Canada’s tenth medal of the Games, which currently sits at one gold, four silver, and five bronze. Xandra Velzeboer of the Netherlands won gold, while Kim Gilli of South Korea took bronze.
