Duncan Powell Suspended 3 Games for Fight

Providence forward Duncan Powell has been suspended for his next three games for his role in sparking a fight during Saturday's game against St. John's.

The Big East Conference announced the suspension after Powell committed a flagrant-2 foul by grabbing Bryce Hopkins's head during a layup attempt, triggering the brawl. Six players were ejected total, and St. John's went on to win 79-69 after a 19-minute delay.

Powell will miss games against DePaul on February 21, Xavier on February 24, and Creighton on February 28. He is expected to return for Providence's Senior Day matchup against Marquette on March 4.
