Arizona Women's Basketball Falls to Colorado Late

Arizona women's basketball suffered a heartbreaking 78-70 loss to Colorado after a late fourth quarter collapse despite forcing the Buffaloes into 25 turnovers.

The Wildcats were in position to win but couldn't close out the game, with Noelani Cornfield's six steals leading to 31 points off turnovers. Sumayah Sugapong started strong with the first eight points and continued her shooting success from behind the arc throughout the contest.

Arizona's defense kept them within striking distance, forcing 15 turnovers in the first half alone, but the Buffaloes ultimately prevailed in Tucson on February 17.
