C.E. King's Dillon Mitchell Eyes 2028 Olympics

C.E. King High School sophomore Dillon Mitchell, who holds the top US time in the 60 meters, remains grounded while setting his sights on qualifying for the 2028 Summer Olympics.

At just 16 years old, Mitchell has already broken records as both a freshman and sophomore, with his father Billy coaching him since age four. 'I've been building for it my whole life,' Dillon said of his success. 'It's really like a blink of the eye,' he added of his sprinting performances.

Despite his remarkable achievements, Mitchell maintains a humble perspective. 'I really don't let anything get to my head, it's just track,' he stated. While planning to play football and run track in college, the young athlete is focused on enjoying his teenage years while working toward his Olympic dream.
