Mike Evans Could Join Washington Commanders in 2026-27

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans is tipped to join the Washington Commanders for the 2026-27 season, according to Sports Illustrated.

Mike Evans, a 2014 first‑round pick and six‑time Pro Bowler, has spent 11 seasons with the Buccaneers, consistently posting 1,000‑yard campaigns until a hamstring, concussion and collarbone injury ended his streak this year.

Sports Illustrated’s Conor Orr says Washington’s pursuit of quarterback Jayden Daniels and a Super Bowl run makes the Commanders the ideal destination for Evans, who could become a key playmaker for a team that ranked 24th in passing yards last season.
