Atkin qualified first ahead of Eileen Gu in the women's halfpipe. However, a major upset occurred in the 50km cross-country skiing as gold medal favorite Frida Karlsson pulled out.
Karlsson had previously won the skiathlon and the 10km intervals, as well as a silver in the 4x7.5km relay.
