Lebanon's Jayden Bailey Remembered at Beech High Game

Lebanon high school star Jayden Bailey, who died Feb. 19 after a four‑year battle with cancer, was honored during a Beech High playoff game where a tribute table and GoFundMe QR code were displayed.

At the Feb. 21 District 7‑4A semifinal, fans at Beech High saw a tribute table honoring 17‑year‑old Jayden Bailey, who died Feb. 19 after a four‑year cancer battle. The table featured a photo of Bailey, a GoFundMe QR code, and the message “Support Jayden Bailey’s Cancer Battle.”

Bailey’s Lebanon team won 46‑44, with senior Marques Anglin scoring 18 points. Coach Jim McDowell said the team played “because of Jayden” and that Bailey’s spirit remained with them. No funeral arrangements have been announced.
