Connecticut head coach Geno Auriemma has set a new record with his 655th career appearance in the Associated Press Top 25 rankings, surpassing the previous mark he shared with Tara VanDerveer. The achievement comes as the Huskies continue their dominant season, remaining the unanimous No. 1 team in the country with a perfect 29-0 record.

UConn is the last unbeaten team in Division I and has now won 45 consecutive games dating back to last season. Behind the Huskies, UCLA, South Carolina, Texas, and Vanderbilt round out the top five, with notable movement in the top 10 including LSU climbing to No. 6, Oklahoma jumping to No. 7, and Iowa surging to No. 9.
