Jurgen Zomermaand Takes Lead at Tour du Rwanda

Dutch cyclist Jurgen Zomermaand secured victory in Stage 3 of the Tour du Rwanda, claiming the yellow jersey.

Jurgen Zomermaand of Development Team Picnic PostNL triumphed in the 145.3km stage from Huye to Rusizi on Tuesday, beating Lucas Van Gils and Matteo Vanhuffel.

The win moves Zomermaand to the top of the general classification. Stage 4 on Wednesday will cover 127.2km from Karongi to Rubavu.
