Lions Eye Sewell Move to Left Tackle

Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell hinted that Penei Sewell might move to left tackle, depending on roster changes, but the move is still under evaluation.

At the NFL Owners’ Meetings, Campbell noted Sewell’s versatility and said the Lions could shift him to left tackle “in a heartbeat” if needed. He added, “Just give him a few days.”

The decision will hinge on how the rest of the offensive line shapes up after Taylor Decker’s departure. While the Lions aren’t committed, the option keeps roster flexibility open.
