Veteran Names Celtics Championship Sleeper Team

Veteran NBA player Bobby Portis has named the Boston Celtics as his sleeper team for a championship push, highlighting their culture and Jayson Tatum's return from injury.

Portis, who has faced Boston twice this season with his Milwaukee Bucks, made the comments on FanDuel TV's 'Run It Back.' The Celtics recently clinched a playoff berth and their fifth straight 50-win season despite Tatum's absence, currently sitting second in the Eastern Conference with the NBA's top-ranked scoring defense.

'My sleeper team is Boston,' Portis said. 'Culture is everything to me, man. When you talk about guys that's been there, guys that have done it.' Tatum has returned to form, scoring 32 points with eight assists in a recent victory, giving Boston time to prepare for the postseason.
