Coen Wants Walker So Good They'll Have to Remove Him

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen wants defensive end Travon Walker to be so dominant that they'll have to remove him from practices, comparing him to Aaron Donald.

During his end-of-season meeting with Walker, Coen told the defensive end that he wants to have to remove him from practice because the offense is unable to accomplish anything with him on the field. Coen, who worked with Aaron Donald in LA, said they had to take Donald out of practice just to gain yards on offense.

Walker, who has recorded 10-plus sacks in each of the 2023 and 2024 seasons, says it's time to take his game to another level. The defensive end recently signed a new 4-year, $110 million contract with $77 million in guarantees and is focusing on perfecting small details this offseason to reach new heights.
