Olympic 100m silver medallist Sha'Carri Richardson became the third woman ever to win the Stawell Gift from scratch, covering the full 120‑metre uphill grass track in 13.08 seconds. She edged Australian 19‑year‑old Charlotte Nielsen, who started with a nine‑metre head‑start, to take the A$40,000 prize.
