New York Mets pinch-hitter Ronny Mauricio hit a game-winning single in the 10th inning during his return to the majors, securing a 4-3 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Mauricio, recalled from Triple-A on Monday, lined an 0-2 pitch over the head of Corbin Carroll to score Francisco Lindor with one out.

The victory gave New York a 7-4 record and snapped a run of extra-inning games, as Luke Weaver pitched a perfect 10th inning.
