DK Metcalf Will Not Face Charges for Detroit Fan Altercation

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf will not face criminal charges for an altercation with a Detroit Lions fan in December, Wayne County prosecutors announced Friday.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy reviewed video footage and interviews before deciding not to file charges. She noted the 45-year-old fan did not appear injured.

The fan, Ryan Kennedy, is pursuing a civil lawsuit. Metcalf was previously suspended by the NFL for two games, resulting in the voiding of $45 million in guaranteed money. tbzikra.com
