Cristian Chivu secured the Serie A championship with Inter after 48 matches, an impressive achievement but not the fastest in history. While he surpassed legendary managers like Conte and Trapattoni, four coaches who took over mid-season won with even fewer games: Ettore Puricelli (15 matches with Milan), Antonio Janni (17 with Torino), Carlo Bigatto (22 with Juventus), and Giovanni Invernizi (25 with Inter).

Among coaches who started and finished the season, Chivu ranks eighth, with Arrigo Sacchi holding the record at 28 matches with Milan in 1987/88. sport-ipl.my
