Leclerc Signs Long-Term Ferrari Deal Before Monaco GP

Charles Leclerc has signed a multi-year contract extension to remain with Ferrari, committing to the team he considers "more than just a team" ahead of his home Monaco Grand Prix.

The 28-year-old Monegasque driver, currently third in this year's standings, will continue to race alongside Lewis Hamilton, who also has a long-term contract with the team. Ferrari announced the extension on the eve of Leclerc's home race at Monaco this weekend.

Leclerc has been a stalwart of Ferrari since joining in 2019, competing in 155 races for the Scuderia. This places him second only to Michael Schumacher in terms of race appearances with the Italian team, during Schumacher's successful tenure between 1996 and 2006. newsbetting.cv
