Reusser Wins Tour de France Time Trial

Swiss world time trial champion Marlen Reusser won the 21km individual time trial at the Tour de France women, taking the overall lead.

The Swiss rider, current world time trial champion, dominated the 21km stage between Gevrey-Chambertin and Dijon, claiming victory and the yellow jersey. Reusser overtook previous leader Sigrid Ytterhus Haugset to take the lead in the general classification.

French favorite Pauline Ferrand-Prévot lost over two minutes to Reusser, while Dutch contender Demi Volering finished 22 seconds behind the winner. Reusser's victory comes after her third Tour de Suisse win in June. sportbet.rodeo
