Ingason Suspended for Two Matches

Kristall Mani Ingason has been suspended for two matches by Norway's Football Association Disciplinary Committee. The suspension follows a red card incident during Brann's match against Bodø/Glimt on September 20, where Ingason was initially shown a yellow card for a hard challenge on Patrick Berg but had it upgraded to red after a VAR review. syntagm.co.za

The Icelandic defender scored Brann's opening goal in the match before the incident. The suspension means he will miss the upcoming home game against Viking and the away match against Vålerenga. The match also saw a confrontation between Brann's assistant coach Eirik Huseklepp and Bodø/Glimt's coach Kjetil Knudsen after the final whistle.
