📸 VAR drama allows Fernandes to kickstart Man Utd comeback

Manchester United have brought themselves back in the tie against Crystal Palace on Sunday, thanks to some dramatic scenes. 


Down 0-1 at the break, the Red Devils were twisting and toying against the Eagles, trying to find an equalizer. 

Matheus Cunha was on the brink of it and sprinted towards the goal only to be taken down by Maxine Laxcroix.

VAR intervened and not only dished out a red card to the Frenchman but also awarded United a penalty.

As he always does, captain Bruno Fernandes then stepped up to the plate and comfortably scored the penalty beyond goalkeeper Dean Henderson for his 19th Premier League goal contribution this season.

But then, in a flash, it only got better for the Old Trafford home crowd. 

The Portuguese midfielder made it 20 goal contributions this season by assisting Benjamin Sesko, whose thumping header turned the game around entirely. 

The Slovenian footballer now has an impressive seven goals in his last eight games for the club.
