In this edition of SB Nation Reacts, we gave Maize n Brew readers two choices, and the results proved to be very tight.

We asked fans to vote on whether Michigan men’s basketball or hockey has the better chance of winning a national championship this year. Here’s a look at the results.

54% of fans voted that Michigan men’s basketball has a better chance of winning a national championship this season, while 46% voted for Michigan hockey.

Michigan men’s basketball is currently ranked No. 3 in the nation and just earned an outright Big Ten title after beating No. 10 Illinois on Friday night. Michigan is currently 27-2 this season and 17-1 in the Big Ten. Michigan’s only losses this season are to Wisconsin and Duke. Michigan has two remaining regular-season games before the Big Ten Tournament commences, a road tilt against Iowa and a home matchup versus Michigan State. Michigan is in a prime position to be a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, which would greatly aid its path to a national title.

Michigan hockey is currently ranked No. 2 in the nation and split a series this weekend against Minnesota, and is now 26-7-1 this season and 17-6-1 in the Big Ten. Michigan’s regular season is now wrapped up, and its next tilt will come next week in the Big Ten Tournament.

How did you vote this week? Let us know in the comments.
