Premier League pacesetters Arsenal have reportedly joined Inter Milan in the race for Bayern Munich star Leon Goretzka.
According to German outlet Bild via FCInterNews, the Gunners are contemplating a summer swoop for the versatile midfielder.
Goretzka’s contract in Munich runs out at the end of the season.
Despite playing a prominent role in Vincent Kompany’s setup, the record-time Bundesliga champions have decided against renewing his deal.
Therefore, the former Schalke man will be available on a Bosman deal in the summer.

Moreover, Beppe Marotta views the 31-year-old as a cost-effective signing, which perfectly fits his modus operandi.
Meanwhile, the player is reportedly open to moving to Serie A after spending his entire professional career in Germany’s top flight.
