NFL executives offered their estimates of who the first 10 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft should be, with help at wide receiver headed to the Tennessee Titans at No. 4 overall.
Offseason projections have forecast the Titans to draft an array of players, with edge rusher a recurring position of interest for the pick. However, Tennessee’s No. 1 wide receiver in 2025, Elic Ayomanor, recorded 515 yards last season. The Titans’ roster included a mix of veteran wide receivers and young contributors. Yet Tennessee ranked No. 29 in the NFL in receiving yards in 2025 with 3,241.
Per The Athletic’s Mike Sando, two of the four NFL executives who were asked to share their perspectives on who the top 10 picks in the draft should be, went with Ohio State WR Carnell Tate to the Titans with the No. 4 overall pick. A third executive’s insights helped break the tie between the four executives questioned.
"’Tate is good,’” an NFL executive said. “‘He's like A.J. Green, but more of a deep-ball threat, probably.’
"’They need receivers, I know that,’ another exec said. ‘(New offensive coordinator Brian) Daboll will want an offensive player. They took (Malik) Nabers when he was with the Giants. That guy in this draft is Jordyn Tyson.’"
Tate recorded 875 receiving yards on 51 receptions in 2025. The 21-year-old scored nine receiving touchdowns last season. Tate is a heralded prospect at wideout for the Titans to weigh in the balance with the No. 4 overall pick on draft day.
