Arkansas coach John Calipari suffered the worst loss of his 34-year coaching career as his Razorbacks were routed 111-77 by No. 7 Florida on Saturday. The 34-point margin equaled the worst defeat in Calipari's storied career, which includes stints at Kentucky, Memphis and UMass.
After the defeat, Calipari quipped, "I wish it would have gone faster" and noted, "This is not the team I've been coaching." The Gators, who celebrated at least a share of the Southeastern Conference title, outrebounded Arkansas 51-31 and had seven players score in double figures. The coaches exchanged technical fouls in the second half, with Calipari admitting, "He outcoached me today."
