Hearts hit by injury blows

Hearts will be without key defender Stuart Findlay for six weeks while record signing Eduardo Ageu misses the rest of the season due to injuries.

Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts will be without Stuart Findlay for six weeks with a hamstring injury. The 30-year-old has started all 28 league matches this season. Brazilian midfielder Eduardo Ageu, making his first start of an injury-hit debut, will need thigh surgery and miss the remainder of the campaign.

Goalkeeper Craig Gordon's shoulder injury could also keep him out of Scotland's friendlies in March. Despite the setback, Hearts remain four points clear at the top of the Premiership with coach Derek McInnes insisting they have enough players to field a strong team against Aberdeen.
