Inter and Italy are facing growing concerns over Nicolò Barella's form, as the midfielder has netted just once this season.

Barella ended his Champions League campaign without a goal or assist, having only managed one Serie A goal and six assists this season. This dip contrasts sharply with his 2022-23 output of nine goals and ten assists.

Consequently, Italy coach Gennaro Gattuso is reportedly concerned, casting doubt on Barella's inclusion in next month's World Cup play-offs. Reports suggest Inter might also consider listening to offers for the 29-year-old next summer.
