The Las Vegas Raiders announced the hiring of former Carolina Panthers coach Al Holcomb as a senior defensive assistant. Holcomb joins the Raiders' coaching staff after a stint with the Buffalo Bills as a senior defensive assistant and linebackers coach.
Holcomb spent eight years with the Panthers in various roles, including linebackers coach (2013–2017), defensive run game coordinator (2020), assistant head coach on defense (2022), and interim defensive coordinator. He also served as defensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals and had a brief period with the Cleveland Browns.
