No. 21 Miami stays unbeaten after win

No. 21 Miami defeated Eastern Michigan 74-64 on Tuesday night, extending their record to 28-0 and remaining the only unbeaten team in Division I basketball.

Brant Byers led four RedHawks in double figures with 16 points. Antwone Woolfolk scored 14 points, while Peter Suder had 13 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double, also reaching his 1,500th career point. Almar Atlason added 12 points off the bench. Miami jumped out to a 12-0 lead and led 43-22 at halftime. They led by as many as 26 points before holding off Eastern Michigan late.

The RedHawks will play at Western Michigan on Friday, Feb. 27, at 6 p.m. as they continue their pursuit of a perfect season.
